The reclamation of a manufacturing facility is a prime example of the type of demolition services work that Sunset performs. While performing demolition services on these types of sites, it is not uncommon to encounter very heavy structures. Sunset has the capability to remove these structures and reclaim the materials for future use on your site. For example, on a recent demolition project Sunset was able to remove footings for a stamping plant that were over ten feet thick. The removal of these buried structures gives our customers the flexibility to use a site in the most efficient manner rather that to try and build around the remains of the previous facilities. By separating the steel from the concrete by processing it through a crusher, the resulting crushed concrete also saves the customer money by reducing their landfill costs and reducing the amount of aggregates that need to be hauled to the site for road and parking lot base.
Our ability to staff a site with a large number of equipment and employees is also a great benefit to our customers. It is not unusual to encounter conditions on the site that were not expected. Sunset has the capacity to ramp up production by sending more employees and equipment to the site. This assures our customers that the project schedule is not delayed. To facilitate this process, Sunset’s employees have all been HAZMAT trained.
